Armetriding Farm Cuppa Tea.

Tea, is well regarded almost as an English work of art.

Where ever one travels through this world, one can find English people, and a few others, drinking a cuppa tea.  Tea as an English beverage, is believed to have been first mentioned in English history at about the time of the death of
Oliver Cromwell, 1658.

England and the English, made tea and tea-drinking into the Western art form that it is to today.

England and the English, made tea and tea-drinking into the Western art form that it is to today.

There are most likely, more young children's tea sets made and sold than adult tea sets.   Young children, boys and girls, have all enjoyed playing tea parties. Young children, mimic adult way of life, both the good parts and the not so good parts, so to mimic Mum and Dad drinking tea and eating cucumber sandwiches is like to be.

Interestingly, it has been said, that the Earl of Sandwich invented the sandwich, to keep his fingers from getting greasy when playing cards.

The comment "than all the tea in China" indicates China as the original source of tea, and of course it is the original source of porcelain china which is another art form that the West borrowed from China.  Until the discovery by the West of  China porcelain, European pottery was not of a very high standard.  Once discovered, Europe set off to master the making of porcelain china, finally mastering it were the  Staffordshire potters of the early 18th century.

Now, there is a page that tells you how to make a good cuppa
tea, but before you enjoy your next cup, consider this:

"Would you like a nice cup of Tea?

This statement alone appears to have solved most of the worlds major problems.  It is very hard for one to travel far today without someone offering one, "a nice cuppa tea".
