Below is our Euxton strip map (old) of Chapel Brook and Culbek Brook (East West) .

Euxton Village features shown are few, as it is an old countryside walk,
The features shown and identified by name include:

Ransnap Brook, The Red Lion (Anderton Arms),
National School (C of E ), Pedestal or Stone Cross (near the old village pump),
Parish Parsonage,  Euxton Parish Church, Chapel Brook and Bridge.
Bank Lane woods, Well Plantation, Culbeck Brook.

Also shown are Culbeck House (of Wesleyan Ranters fame) and Lark Hill,
both just outside the Euxton Village boundary, but,
Culbeck House folk had very strong connections with the Euxton Wesleyan Chapel!

There is a pleasant walk from the village down Bank Lane, through Bank Lane Woods. 
It more or less follows the Ransnap and Culbeck (brooks), to the footbridge just past Shapfield Well.  From here one can travel south to Dawbers Lane.
Then one can cross to Mill Lane and Armetriding Farm country.
